Merseyside Astronomy Day VI

Continung the MADness from the 2010 Merseyside Astronomy Day,
Liverpool John Moores University's Astrophysics Research Institute
and Spaceport are pleased to announce that MAD VI
will be held on Saturday 4th June 2011.
The event will include a series of talks from a range of
professional astrophysicists plus, as a special treat for this
year, a particle physicist.

15/04/10: Booking now open!
14/04/11: The draft programme is now ready.
01/03/11: The speakers are now all confirmed.
28/02/11: Date of MAD VI announced.
Venue: Spaceport Astronomy and Space Visitor Centre,
Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Wirral, CH44 6QY.
Please Note: Spaces in the talks are
strictly limited. Although a number of places will be available on a
first-come, first-served basis on the day, we strongly
recommend that you book your place in
advance.
Entrance to all the talks is free, but normal costs to enter
Spaceport will apply.
The MAD is sponsored by JMU's Astronomy by Distance Learning
Programme and entry is free to current students.
