The animated figure below shows how the galaxy colour-mass distribution varies with environment. The contours are logarithmically spaced in number density with 4 contours per factor of 10. The grey regions represent the mean color plus/minus 1-sigma of the red and blue sequences. This is an animated version of Figure 9 of Baldry et al. 2006.
