Ages of galaxies for various z and $z_{\rm form}$

The time line between various redshifts is computed for the standard cosmology using the recent results of Bennett et al. (2003), which were based on WMAP and other cosmological surveys. The calculations were marginalized over $H_0 = 71\pm4$ and $\Omega_{m_0} =
0.27\pm0.04$, constrained by $\Omega_{\rm total} = 1$ and the age of the universe equal to $13.70\pm0.25$Gyr. A slightly larger error than quoted by Bennett et al. was used for the age, for robustness to rounding errors. The average and 1$\sigma$ uncertainties of galaxy ages for various redshifts and $z_{\rm form}$ are shown below.
