I am a Professor of Theoretical Astrophysics and the Head of
EDI
at
the Astrophysics Research Institute
of LJMU.
My research interests are around time domain astronomy and gravitational wave astrophysics including gamma-ray
bursts, electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave sources, relativistic hydrodynamics, and galactic
centre dynamics. Before joining LJMU, I did my PhD study and postdocs in Japan,
Israel and the US.
